500 Firepaper by Chainsaw lets you set Pictures from 500px as Wallpapers for Android

Chainsaw has done plenty of great work in the past when it comes to helping you mod and root your Android phone. He has become one of the most renowned developers alongside the likes of Cyanogenmod and Team Paranoid Android. However, the app we are about to talk has nothing to do with rooting or hacking your device.

500 Firepaper_2

500 Firepower is a fantastic app from the labs of Chainsaw which basically picks images from the popular image sharing site 500px to give you a brand new wallpaper from your selected category at the interval time that you set. Obviously the app would require you to have an active Wi-Fi connection and make sure the app is excluded from apps such as Greenify which you may use. The app is simple and very easy to use and gets things done really neatly and serves the purpose of giving you a refreshed set of wallpapers at regular periods.

Here is the description of the application from the developer himself:

500 Firepaper provides a live wallpaper and a daydream showing you the latest images from 500px throughout the day.

You never need to look at that boring old wallpaper again, or search for hours for a nice new one. This app will show you quality photographs from all over the world – different ones each day!

The feature (popular, editor’s choice, fresh, etc) and categories displayed are of course configurable, as is the refresh interval and the brightness of the images.

Please note that high resolution imagery and animation takes quite a bit of memory, so obviously this app is aimed at high-end devices.

The app is available for absolute free from the Google Play Store. So go ahead and download it from here, and get rid of those boring wallpapers and make sure you have a new HQ Image everytime you look at the screen.
