It is usually this time of the year when the first stories, albeit extremely sceptical start to surface around the next iteration of the iPhone. This year, supposedly we set to welcome two new devices, with iPhone 6s as well as iPhone 6s Plus both being launched just in time for the holiday season. So far, very little is known about the device and what it will come with. But, Dow Jones has confirmed to CNBC that the plans are already in place for the new device with Apple anticipating a massive demand. As a result of this, Apple has already asked its assembly unit to be ready with at last 85-90 million iPhones by December 31st. It has been reported that the manufacturing and assembling of the new device is already underway.
Not just this, Jones also confirmed that the new iPhone will come with Force Touch, a technology that we have seen in the new MacBooks as well as the new Apple Watch. The next iteration of iPhone is also expected to come in a new color, with Pink being the most likely new addition to the lineup in order to woo the feminine side of the audience.
It is expected that the new iPhones will be revealed in September and if the same deadline is to go by, then we shall definitely be hearing more and more such rumors and stories in the coming days and weeks.
