All those who can’t wait to get their hands on the all new PS Vita, we have some news for you. Even though Sony has announced that PS Vita won’t be hitting the market this year, Amazon has already started taking pre-orders and is going to ship the device on December 31st this year. This is great news for the console gaming fans who weren’t hoping to see the device in action until the first quarter of 2012 after Sony’s announcement.
Amazon’s US and UK website have already started to advertise PS Vita’s Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 3G models. The Wi-Fi only model of PS Vita is priced at $249.99 and £229.99 and the Wi-Fi + 3G model is priced at $299.99 and £279.99 in the US and UK respectively. This is totally in sync with the price that was rumored.
However if you’re in the US and you wish to purchase the Wi-Fi + 3G model you have to sign a contract via AT&T. AT&T is currently the only carrier available for the PS Vita in the US. No details on UK carriers are given by Amazon.
