Android Recent Apps Lets You Integrate Android Style Application Switching To iOS

With the upcoming platform which is open to developers to develop applications and UI’s and Rom’s, Android is giving a tough competition to Apple in the field of mobile phones. Well talking about android, here is a new tweak which integrates a very little feature available in android to your iDevice which opens up recent application the way they are done in android.

Android Recent Apps is an iDevice Cydia tweak that gives your device an Android-like app-switching and toggling. This tweak works via an Activator gesture so you will have multiple options for enabling it and you may choose your desired gesture. Android Recent Apps will display 12 of the most recent applications opened, and allows you to easily launch them even if they have already been closed and if they aren’t then it takes you directly to that application.

There are no icons added to your SpringBoard and settings can be configured in your main Settings.app. Android Recent Apps is available for $1.49 in the Cydia Store but not for long.

To download this tweak for free:

  1. Open Cydia on your jailbroken iphone.
  2. Once the data is loaded, go to search and type in “android recent apps”
  3. It’s free in the xSellize, IHR and insanelyi repo.
  4. Select it and install it.
  5. Respring or reboot your device.
  6. You are done to use it.

If you know any other tweaks similar to this one or any other tweak which you might think would be useful to iphone users please let us know.

Blogtechnika will not be responsible if your device gets bricked while using Cydia.
