It has barely been a month since the large major Apple presser and post the mixed reactions that followed iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple is set to showcase the next set of products on October 16th. It was widely reported in media that later this month Apple will be holding an event to release what is expected to be the next generation iPads, but the date has definitely come sooner than most anticipated, especially considering that the iPhones that were announced in the September 9th event have not even gone on sale in most countries.
Yet, the irony of the whole situation is that the invite says, ‘Its been too long’ which makes us think that there might be a rabbit in the hat that not a lot of us saw coming. It is expected the event will have for us the new iPad Air, both Mini and Air variants as well as perhaps new Macbooks. Could it be that finally Apple has new iMacs or even new iPods to show? There are also some suggestions that it could be a completely new category of products that Apple may have ready, maybe an iPad running OSX called the iPad Pro?
Whatever it is, rest assured there will be plenty of news coverage about what we can expect from Cupertino in the next 10 days or so, but remember, there is more often than not, that one more thing, for which we will have no other option, but to wait till the D Day.
