Well done on your achievement, keep up the great work and you will succeed.

To rank better on Alexa, work on having a post a day and work on SEO details. Increase search engine traffic and you will get to the 30k mark. My blog has just gone under 50k and it has taken me sometime to achive that.

As for comments – your thesis them is right and I see you have CommentLuv plugin so that also helps a bit. Maybe think about making your site dofollow, it seems other bloggers will then link to your blog and maybe include it in a post about dofollow blogs. Do a search on Google and notify others that your site is dofollow and ask if they could add your site to their list.

Just my 2 cents regarding your feed subscriber goal. I can see your sidebar is not prominent enough to grab the feed subscriber here. What I guess you missing is feed subscription icon.. Setting goal is always an easy task but setting achievable goal is a difficult one. Always set easy goals for a short period of time, so that you can see result easily. Don’t set goal for next one year or next two year, its really hard to monitor your stat regularly for results for such a long time

If you achieve your first goal then set a big goal again, I did the same, at the time of launch of my blog I set a goal to deliver best contents, alexa rank under 100K and 1000 blog comments, I achieved all of them, now I set a big goal for next six months.
