Since the days mobile phones have become our lifeline, all our contacts are primarily saved within them. It is actually mind boggling to think where would we be if our phones were taken away and we have to dial an emergency number. So protection of contacts is absolutely vital. How can we do this on our iPhone? Well, we have yet another tweak for it.
ContactPrivacy is a small and free tweak for your iPhone and iPad that alerts you when an app is trying to access your device’s Contacts database. This will help you save your contact list from being exploited in any way. Ultimately giving you the choice to either allow or deny the access request for contact list.
For iOS users who want as much privacy/security/whatever as they can get, ContactPrivacy is a pretty little tweak for sure and should be installed immediately.
ContactPrivacy is available now for free in Cydia. No new icons will be added to your Springboard and there are no settings to configure.
To install this tweak you need to follow the steps given below:
- Open Cydia on your jailbroken iphone.
- Let the data load.
- Once the data is loaded go to search and type in “ContactPrivacy”.
- It’s free in the BigBoss repo, insanelyi and IHR.
- Select it
- Install it.
- Respring or reboot your device.
- You are done to use it.
If you know any other tweaks similar to this one or any other tweak which you might think would be useful to iphone users please let us know.
