Easiest Way To Watch Hulu, Netflix in India

Hulu and Netflix are World’s two most popular media sites to watch movies and TV episodes online. But unfortunately they are available only in US. There are ways to open Hulu via using VPN. But there is some more easy work around. Yes, you can open these sites by changing your DNS address provided by Tunlr. All you need to do is changing settings of your computer’s DNS address and boom!

Here’s how you can do that:

Press Windows+R keys simultaneously on your computer and it will open the Run panel.

Now, enter Ncpa.cpl in the run command and press Enter,

It will open your computer’s network connections. Now right click on the network adapter you are using and click on the “Properties” from the options coming.

Now double click on Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on OK button.

Now in TCP/IPv4 properties windows, enter these two values in DNS server address field:

Preferred DNS server:

Alternate DNS server:

Click on OK button, That’s it. Now open your internet browser and start using Hulu, Netflix website. This trick tested and works well in India. According to other blogs, it works all around the World.

In actual we are using DNS settings provided by a company called Tunlr. According to them, a tiny amount of data is routed through their servers and the entire routing data is well encrypted.

  1. Good article but you should have updated it 🙁 tunlr no longer supports Netflix and BBC and for the other channels have restricted the usage to 3 hours a day. Also we have to keep on changing the DNS when not streaming so that it doesn’t overload their servers.

I tried tunlr for a few days but then decided to pay up for a paid DNS service called unotelly. For 4 bucks they charge a month, they are totally worth it. Agreed something free will be the best, but till then I think unotelly is the best alternative to tunlr
