Following the likes of Xiaomi, OnePlus and other several major OEMs, Gionee too announced their Make in India initiative yesterday. The initiative will see Gionee partner with Foxconn to make selected handsets in India. Specifically, these devices will be manufactured in SriCity in Southern part of India. Gionee has sold over 7 million devices in India in the past year and is already aiming to double the numbers this year. The F103 device comes with 5-inch display with 720 P resolution with Dragontrail protection and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core SoC. It runs Android 5.0 out of the box with Amigo 3.0.
