Gmail signature is a text that automatically appears at the last of Gmail messages you compose. People generally use name or nickname in the signature. Gmail signatures are turned off by default.
Professional signature includes name of the firm , web address along with your name and telephone number. People generally use quotes in the place of signature.
If you use the signature feature in Gmail then the signature will appear on every mails you compose, reply to, or forward. Here’s a simple guide to turn on the signature in Gmail:
1. Login to Gmail.
2. Click the “settings” link.
3. Click on General tab.
4. Go to “Signature” area present below the fold and click on the option next to text box.
5. Write any text inside the box. The text you fill will be your signature.
6. Go to the the bottom of the page and click on “Save Changes” button.
That’s all. Now every time you’ll create any mail, a signature will appear on it. You can change the signature anytime by visiting the signature are in the general tab of the Gmail settings and changing the text.
