Google Docs is a cloud computing service by Google using which you can create and share documents, spreadsheets, presentations, Form and drawing online easily. If you already have Google account then you don’t need to sign up again. You can use the account to access all the Google related services including Google Docs. This is a step by step guide to create, download and print Google document.
Create New Google Document
1. Go to Google Docs website.
2. On the left, click on Create new. From a drop down select Document. Similarly you can select Presentation, Spreadsheet, Form, Drawing depends upon the kind of file you want to create.
A new document editor will open in your browser. You can type anything inside the editor. After completing typing you can change the text property by clicking on the tools given above. To rename the document click on the Untitled document given next to Google Docs logo.
Rename document dialog box will appear. Enter the name of document and press OK.
Downlod Google Document
Just like creation, printing is also easy. After create the document, click on the File tab given on the navigation menu. In the dropdown select Download as. You’ll see various formats such as ODT, PDF, RTF, Text, Word, etc. Click on the required format and your download will start in the selected format.
Print Google Document
Go to File –> Print. The file will download in the PDF format. You can open the PDF document in any of your favorite PDF reader. After opening it, click on the printer icon given at the top left, select your printer and hit the print button. That’s it. Your document will print immediately.
