How To Import Your Google Contacts To iPhone

Android and iOS are the two most popular mobile platforms in the world today. And there is  fat chance that if you a fan of technology that you own both of these devices. However, one of the best things about Google is the fact that it integrates all your contacts into one place and you have a mega collection of contacts. Yet when you decide to move from Android to an iOS device chances are a lot of your these contacts are lost in transition as there is no straight forward way or application that would let you do this simple process for free. Yet, if you want Google contacts on your iPhone, then just follow these simple steps.

Step 1) Go to Settings, and click on Mail, Contacts, Calender tab.


Step 2) Now even if you have already configured your Gmail account, go ahead and follow the steps that are given below.

Step 3) Click on Add Account.

Step 4) And here, you must select Microsoft Exchange and not Gmail.

Step 5) Enter your details such as Email and Password in the page that opens next, you can add any description in the last field.


Step 6) Once you do this, you will be taken to the next page, where all you have to do is in your server settings add the server name as: You may have to enter your user id again. this is nothing but your Gmail address.

Step 7) Once you do this much, you will get an option of adding mail, contacts and calender from you  Gmail account. Make sure all three are enabled, and you will see that your Google contacts are synced to your iPhone.
