We told you about turn off hibernate feature in your PC. If you want to go beyond this and hide all your power related switches so that no one can able to shut down, restart, sleep or hibernate your computer then you have to go to Group policy editor and change the user configuration settings. Here’s a guide to edit the settings:
Click on the “Start” button. On right click on Power button next to Shut down, you’ll see all the available power options (restart, sleep, hibernate etc.).
In the Start menu search box type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
In the Local group policy editor, go to User Configuration –> Administrative Templates –> Start Menu and Taskbar in the left. On right click on Remove and prevent access to the Shut down, Restart, Sleep and Hibernate commands. Click Edit.
Now choose the Enabled option and click the OK button.
Now go back to the Start menu and you won’t find any power option to switch off, restart, sleep or hibernate your computer.
That’s how you can remove all the power buttons in Windows 7 computer.
