How To Run Multiple Instances of Skype On A Computer

Let’s say you are sharing your computer with your sibling and both of you have Skype account and both wants to be online at a same time. Unfortunately Skype doesn’t allow you to run two instances at a time at a PC. However you can make a slight change in Skype shortcut properties to open a second instance of Skype on a same computer. Here’s how you can do that.

Go to program files folder inside C drive. Open the Skype folder Inside C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone you’ll find the Skype icon. Right click on it and send it to desktop by selecting Send to –> Desktop. A Skype shortcut will appear on the desktop.
