Windows 7 comes with very unique feature known as Aero Peek. If many windows opened up on your PC and you want to switch to one window to another then first you have to maximize and look the particular window you want. But from Aero peek feature you only need to point your mouse over the program’s icon present on the taskbar (without minimizing the current window). You can preview the contents (thumbnail appear) and also you can switch to the window by just clicking the thumbnail.
Many users face problem while using this feature. While moving pointer over the taskbar icon, a small box appears having program’s name over it. No thumbnail preview at all. To solve this problem you need to open Aero troubleshooter present in your computer.
Click on the “Start” button. Type aero in the search box. Under control panel options, click on “Find and fix problems with transparency and other visual effects”.
Now Aero troubleshoot window will appear. Click Next to search for the possible error.
Windows will automatically search for the problem and fix it. If this solution doesn’t and the problem retains then you need to restart your computer. After restart the problem will magically fix. If you found any other solution to this problem you can post it in the comments section.
