Facebook has definitely revolutionized the world with the way people stay in touch and contact each other. So, it makes a lot of sense that finally HTC, the leading brand in mobile technology has launched a cellphone dedicated to Facebook. The phone has a dedicated Facebook button and a full QWERTY keyboard to enable easy typing and dedicated usage of Facebook.
The phone is running a 800MHz processor with a 2.6 inch touchscreen which is capacitive and of resolution 480 x 320. The phone even though is low on the spec line most definitely performs very well, especially with Android 2.3 onboard which packs a powerful punch. The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
There is a 5 MP camera with LED flash. Also there is a front facing camera with VGA resolution.
Even though it is not a very high end phone, it is extremely functional, and the presence of Facebook button is a huge selling point using which one can post status straight away. The phone is very reasonably priced at just $49.99 on a 2 year contract with AT&T.
The phone is also known as HTC cha-cha in the unlocked mode.
