iOS 4.3 is now ready to download for iPad, 3rd and 4th generation iPod Touch, and GSM iPhone users. Originally slated to be released on the 11th of march alongside the iPad 2 Apple has decided to launch its latest update slightly ahead of the schedule. The main reason for this is perhaps to prevent the overloading of the servers on April 11th when the activation of the iPad too would take place.
To download this latest update, you need to have iTunes 10.2 in your PC or Mac. It can be downloaded from here. Next up you have to connect your device, open iTunes and when prompted for an update click on “Download and Install” button to get the new firmware update.

Some of the improvements that IOS 4.3 brings are:
- Improved airplay.
- iTunes home sharing enabled over wi-fi.
- Faster Safari performances.
- Ability to use iphone 4 as hotspots for AT&T users.
- The switch on the iPad can be used to either mute the device or lock it.
- Improved message alert settings.
Honestly speaking IOS 4.3 is nothing much to ride home about, none of the improvements made are deal breakers. What are your views on the new firmware update? Do let us know.
