Jailbreak iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch On iOS 6.1.2 Using Evasi0n

Apple have in the past few days released plenty of updates to their Operating systems for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. In fact it has become a bit difficult to keep a track. First, we had the iOS version 6.1 on which jailbreak was achieved, but it was found that it had plenty of bugs and issues regarding battery drain and security by pass. However, Apple has set all of it right by iterating the iOS to version iOS 6.1.2 which fixes the calender sync issues. If you are on iOS 6.1, go ahead and check for updates on your device and you would be prompted to a 12 MB update to iOS 6.1.2. So, let’s assume you are done updating your device, the next important thing obviously is to jailbreak the device to enjoy all the goodness of Cydia and having all the customization on your device to suit your needs. So here is a step by step process for your jaibreak your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad running iOS 6.1.2.

Step 1) Before you do anything, go ahead and turn off the pass code you might have setup on your device by going into settings.

Step 2) Head over to Evasi0n site here and download the version for your OS, be it Windows, Linux or Mac.

Step 3) Connect your device, make sure you close iTunes in case it opened, and go ahead and click on “Jailbreak” option to enjoy all the customization.

Step 4) After the first set of procedures, a new icon of jailbreak would flash on your device, so go ahead click that and allow your phone to reboot a few times which it would before finally booting up the iOS 6.1.2.
