After a series of press releases and rumored specifications thrown out in the wild, LeEco, formerly LeTV has announced its flagship device, the LeEco Le Max in India starting at Rs 32,999. Before we guide you more about the phone, we would want to make it clear that LeEco is pronounced at ‘Lah-Eeee-co’ and not ‘El-ee–ee-see-oh’. Now that is out, the base model of the Le Max is priced at Rs 32,999 and will come in Silver metallic body. The other model of the device is a metallic gold version with 128 GB of memory on board. Not just this, if you want a Sapphire display, there is a Le Max Sapphire, which brings a sapphire display like Apple has been rumored to bring for a while at Rs 69,999. The phone will sell exclusively on Flipkart on February 16th, while you can register for the sale already.
In terms of specifications on board, the Le Max comes with a 6.3-inch 2K panel and has a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. It is called Le Touch and LeEco claims that it would be able to unlock your device in about .15 seconds. There is a Gorilla Glass 4 on top of the display for added protection. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC and has 4 GB of RAM. The rear camera and front camera both have an aperture of f/2.0 with the rear unit being 21 MP while the front one being 4 MP. There is OIS on board too to ensure your videos come out neat.
