While most of the big names have concentrated on coming up with a flagship device that is hot off the shelves, Lenovo has been doing things slightly differently. Unlike most of the major OEMs Lenovo is choosing to concentrate well on the lower end of the market and the mid-budget range, which is an interesting strategy given that the market in India is not as flourished as that abroad and the paying capacity of the people is significantly lower when compared to say the likes of the Europe or Northern America. Therefore, it makes sense to be present in a segment, which majority of the users can pick up stuff from which Lenovo is doing.
Keeping up with the tradition, Lenovo has announced the K3 Note, which is a budget phablet 4G device in India yesterday. The device packs in a couple of very interesting add-ons, including a few accessories that are noteworthy. The K3 Note, like other Lenovo devices, will be sold via Flipkart and the registrations for the Rs 9,999 device are open.
In terms of specifications, the device comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD display with 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 SoC at the heart of the device. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory with an expansion slot. You have a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera on the device for the photography enthusiast in you. The phone has a dual SIM configuration as well as Dolby Atmos Sound Technology for great experience. On the software front, it runs Android Lollipop out of the box with Lenovo’s skin on top. The first Lenovo K3 Note will go on sale on July 8th.
