Lenovo Thinkpad2 may well be one of the first tablets running Windows 8 that might be hitting the market soon. We have seen various images of tablets running Windows 8 and very recently the Microsoft branded Surface. These line of tablets may well be strong contenders for taking on the iPad and very high range of Android tablets and probably earning a good market share. However, with the leaked specs and various images leaked out, let us warn you that if you thought that were some recolutionary then you are set to be disappointed.
Lenovo as we have come to expect from their Laptops are more known for their durability and a usable design rather than the more eye catchy and flashy features such as those from Apple or even HTC. The Thinkpad 2 seems to be no different. The device sports an all black chassis from the front. Engadget have compared the device to the likes of the new iPad in terms of specs. It sports a massive 10.1 inch touchscreen on the top which houses an IPS display with a resolution of 1366×768. On board are also NFC and a finger print reader which are actually very interesting addition to the tablet market. The tablet is said to be holding out for over 10 hours of battery back up on wi-fi which definitely is great for a device of this size.
We are very excited to see how this tablet performs if and when it comes to the market especially seeing the beautiful keyboard dock it promises to come with. Do let us know your views regarding this tablet too.
