After a long of pre buzz and innumerable leaks, the LG G3 is finally a reality now. The device has been one of the most keenly awaited smartphones in the tech space and finally we know everything there is to know about the device. Not surprisingly, there was nothing left to imagination as most features about the device including the new accessories were leaked online well before the event even kicked off.
As expected, the G3 features a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, making it the first smartphone after the Oppo 7 to bring the next generation of display technology, 801 Snapdragon SoC, 2 GB of RAM and 3,000 mAh battery. We certainly are sceptical about the battery performance of the G3 given that the Snapdragon 801 will have to push a lot of pixels thanks to that Quad HD display and whether the 3,000 mAh battery is enough to do the same is a question only time will answer when we get the device in hands. There is a new improved UI on the device as well as support for new quickcircle cases as well as a 1 watt rear speaker for loud audio output. The G3 will also come in a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM variant in several markets. You can pick the G3 in five different colors including Black, White, Golden, Purple and Crimson.
The device will come with Android 4.4 out of the box with 13 Mp rear camera with OIS and LED Flash as well as a laser auto focus. Connectivity options include the Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE on board to share files which would be stored on the 32 GB internal memory of the device. The device will also support micro SD cards with up to 2 TB storage, making the phone extremely future proof. WiFi Direct, Miracast, and DLNA are supported, and there’s an FM radio on the LG G3 too. The LG G3 will go on sale tomorrow in South Korea and will be available in 170 countries post that.
