LG Optimus G Pro was recently launched in India, but looks like the device will not remain to be the flagship device of LG as the Optimus G2 is already here knocking the door as extensive leaks of the device have surfaced. there is no timespan as to when the device will be launched but do not hold your breath for it to come out anytime soon.
LG have teased us in the past about a possible device running on Snapdragon 800 process for their launch event on August 7th, so it may well be that is when the G2 goes public.
From the observations of the device we can see that the device has a real thin profile and take quiete a lot of design cues from the Nexus 4. The front of the device looks similar with a lot of minimalistic design. It is also interesting to note that the bottom of the phone has speaker grills instead of the front or back. We still believe, that is pretty much the best place to put the speakers to make sure that the voice does not get smudged when placed on a surface.
The Optimus G2 also has neat metal sort of a ring around it and has a shiny back which could well be a finger smudge magnet. The size of the device definitely matches with some of the flagship devices, so expect it to lie anywhere between 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. There are on screen buttons too and the Camera application is redesigned too.
