The first Microsoft-branded Lumia device has been launched in India today after a global release earlier this month. The device called the Microsoft Lumia 535 is a selfie focussed mid-range smartphone that bears the Microsoft moniker for the first time post its acquisition of Finnish brand, Nokia. The device will cost Rs 9,199 in the market and will give us a first heads up on how Microsoft plans to steady the Lumia and Windows Phone ship. For those who have seen the Lumia brand grow, the biggest bummer here is that there would be no Cyan variant of the Lumia 535, looks like Microsoft is already stamping the authority here.

These deals definitely make picking the device a lot sweeter and this is not even counting some of the cool discounts you may get online.
In terms of specifications, the device will come with a 5 inch qHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. It will run Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box with Denim update. the device is powered by a Snapdragon 200 Quad Core chipset and has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, with expansion possible via external micro SD card. the battery on board is 1905, and you have the usual set of connectivities such as Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS etc on board.
