Microsoft announced the Lumia 950 a couple of months ago and since then, we have heard about several phones coming with the X50 moniker. We have heard about the Lumia 850 in the past and today, looks like the specifications and the renders of the Lumia 650 have been leaked out on the interwebs. The phone is expected to bring fairly similar specifications as the Lumia 550. According to the report published by VentureBeat, the phone will be sporting a polycarbonate body and have fairly midrange specifications.
The screen size is expected to be 5-inch with 720P resolution with some sort of Gorilla Glass Protection on top. The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 210 SoC and bring 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. It is expected that the phone will run Windows 10 out of the box, and while the specs look really modest from the outset, you need to factor that Windows OS is not the most memory intensive and just like Apple, makes really good use of even modest specifications.
The camera is expected to be 8 MP at the back and 5 MP on the front. There may be an optional Dual SIM variant too, though the phone will come with LTE out of the box as the connectivity option. The battery is expected to be 2000 mAh. The expected launch date of the phone is either at MWC 2016 or just before that during Q1 of 2016.
