Motorola Moto G was one of the top devices in the mid-range tier and segment from last year. The device not only came in with very decent specifications but also with a design that was not too bland and boring. However, one spot where the Motorola Moto G lost out to its elder sibling that was the Motorola Moto X was the entire customization game. Yes, the phone did come with back shells that could be swapped, but that was about all that you could do with the phone. There was no option for users to be able to use, say a wooden finish back or even a leather back panel and you had to go back to using a plastic panel which made the device look a little cheap.
However, with the Motorola Moto G 2015 Motorola is set to change some of this problem. It has been widely reported that the device will be on show for the first time at the launch event planned in New Delhi on July 28th and one of the features that will be introduced will be an all new Motorola Moto Maker for the Moto G. Motorola has already earned a lot of praise for its Moto Maker with the Moto X and it is bringing the successful formula over to Moto G too. A screenshot of the Moto Maker was obtained from Reddit giving us a quick look at how the whole platform will look like.
The Moto Maker is very similar to that of the Moto X and you can pick what color would you like of your front bezel, the accents on the device, how you want the rear shell to look like, as well as the memory options that you can pick between an 8 GB or a 16 GB variants. What remains to be seen though, is that whether the tool in itself will come to India or not given the Moto X did not receive it in India.
