Motorola is on a price cutting spree of sorts. It recently slashed the prices of the Motorola Moto 360 in the United States to $179 and looks like the company is making similar moves in India. The price cut here though, is not on the watch but on the two premier flagship devices on Motorola here in India.
Motorola has cut the prices of both, the Motorola Moto X Second Generation as well as the Motorola Moto G Second Generation. The price cut on the Motorola Moto G Second Generation is Rs 2,000 while both the versions of the Motorola Moto X Second Generation have received the price cut of Rs 3,000. This makes the pricing of the Moto G to be Rs 10,999 and the 16 GB variant of the Moto X would be Rs 26,999 while the 32 GB version is now available for rs 29,999. Not just this, if you have an SBI card, and are willing to use it for the transaction, you can pick up another 10% off on the devices.
Not just this, you would be getting a healthy double your data cap from Airtel when you buy the two Motorola smartphones. There have been no slashes on the accessories or on the Motorola Maxx which is a device that we are really interested in. It is worth considering that maybe the slashing prices of the Mi4 as well as the introduction of Mi 4i and the likes of Yu Yureka which may have forced the hands of Motorola.
