MTS Announces Commercial Rollout of 3G Plus Network

We live in the age where we would much rather not have credit to call in our smartphone but need the MBs in there to make sure we are not disconnected from the enticing world of the internet. But if you are on a laptop, you either tether from your phone or use portable routers or dongles. However, data speeds have always been an issue and a constant fight in India. MTS are looking to solve this problem as they aim to offer new and exciting offers as they flag off the 3G Plus Network in India. MTS have announced the next generation MBlaze Ultra dongle on its 3GPLUS network, powered by Evolution – Data optimized (EV-DO) Rev. B Phase II technology, offering download speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps.

The MBlaze Ultra device has been priced at just Rs.1299 for both prepaid and postpaid customers. MTS is offering a bundled offer where new prepaid customers just need to pay Rs. 1399 to get an MBlaze Ultra dongle along with 10 GB data usage with 30 day validity. The existing users can upgrade with only Rs 750 extra upfront.

The roll out is all set to make MTS India, the FIRST telecom operator in India to provide ubiquitous 3GPLUS network coverage across all its 9 circles of operations i.e. Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh (West) and West Bengal.
