We all use our smartphone for listening to music. Be it casually at home or simply while travelling and we need to pass time, there is barely any time when our headphones are not connected in the 3.5 mm headset socket of our smartphones. No wonder, iPhone today is the most popular iPod out there. However, on Android phones, track information sometimes can be convoluted and difficult to find out. One way is to simply pull down the notification bar and see the track listed there for you to know which is the music being played currently.
However, if you find this too much of a hassle, what you can do is simply install an app called NextSong which will simply show you the quick song information in a three second pop up window just below the main notification bar of your device in a white color background of sorts. This is a feature in the free version that everyone gets, however, for the paid version of the app, users also get playback controls so that they can sit through and change the tracks, pause or play it on their will.
The application only works on Android 4.4 Kitkat and above.
