It has hardly been about 5 to 6 months, since Oppo announced the Oppo R5, which at the time of the announcement was the thinnest smartphone in the industry. There was a massive hoopla around the device as it did not include a 3.5 mm headset jack in the device. Next up, out of the labs of Oppo is a device called Oppo R7, which is the first phone with virtually no bezel. We have seen the likes of LG try hard to reduce the bezel around the device in the G2 and the G3, Sharp did something similar with Arquous, though Oppo’s attempt looks by far the best one.
The R7 was leaked out in a few images as well as a hands-on video, and while nothing is really known about the build quality or about the specifications of the phone, the phone does look like a nightmare to grip along. It is stated that the phone will feature a high-end camera as you would expect from the next Oppo flagship, though there is literally nothing else known about that either. The video shows the phone running a Chinese firmware, hinting to the possibility that the device will be first released in China.
The only thing we can be sure of the device so far is that it features on device capacitive buttons and not screen navigation buttons. You can check out the video right here.
