We have seen a fair few videos online leaked, which showcase the working models of Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is worth noting that these Galaxy S5 devices are running Touchwiz and not the stock GPE variant. This is remarkable work from Samsung, even though the update may not be final and absolutely bug free, but obviously works. It is worth noting that a lot of devices that run Vanilla Android too, such as the Motorola Moto X have not got the Lollipop update.
It is now being reported that the Polish variant of the device is now receiving the update to Android 5.0, Lollipop. Th eversion of the device receiving the update is SM-G900F and the same OTA update is expected to hit the neighbouring European countries in a very short period of time from now.
Sam mobile has published a few screenshots from the update and it is clear that while TouchWiz is still the prominent UI on the device, there are strong Lollipop references too from the stock Android variant, especially in the notification bar, transition effects etc.
