The Nokia Lumia 530 which was announced a month or so ago is all set to land in India. After the relative success of the Lumia 630, the Lumia 530 will be the second device to come with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box. The device will also come with a Dual SIM configuration just like the Lumia 630 and be available in plethora of colors such as orange, black, green, orange and white.
The phone takes a lot of inspiration from the Lumia 630 and has similar cost cutting measures, such as the lack of an LED flashlight and a physical camera shutter button. The device is currently on pre order on Snapdeal, an E-Com site in India. You do not need to pay a dime to pre-order the device and the page of the device indicates the release date to be around August third week. The price of the device is expected to be in the region of Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 and will be competing against the likes of Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4.
On the specs front, the Lumia 530 comes with a 4 inch display with a 480×854 resolution. You have a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 200 SoC with 512 MB of RAM on board as well as a 5 MP rear facing camera. There is no front facing camera here. The battery on board is 1430 mAh and you have an internal memory of 4 GB in the device, though you do get 15 GB of Cloud storage as well as an option to expand storage via Micro SD slot.
