Print Friendly is an extension for Google Chrome which allows users to remove any unwanted elements on a webpage. By using this extension users can remove what they don’t need on a webpage before printing so they can get exactly what elements they want on the printed page.
After visiting to Chrome web app page (by clicking the link given at the end of this article), click on the “Add to Chrome” button to install the extension. Once installed, an icon will appear next to the address bar on your Chrome browser. To remove elements that you don’t want from a webpage before printing it, click on the Print Friendly icon on your browser. A window will open which looks like the snapshot shown in the above given screenshot.
To remove elements, move your cursor over the element you want to remove and you will get a message “click to delete”. Click on it to remove that element from the print. Similarly, remove all the elements that you don’t want on the printed page. Once you are done with this, click on “Print” button to start the process.
Users can even save the document in PDF format or send the draft to their email straight through this extension. Users can also customize the size of the text and can modify these elements before printing to get the desired result.
