Samsung devices are literally raining upon us. Just last week we covered the launch of Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini and the Galaxy Mega. However, neither of these devices were the devices that caught our attention like the S IV Active. Samsung is known for releasing various versions of their flagship devices and alongside the Mini and the Google Edition, Active is another variant of the hugely popular Galaxy S IV. And dare we say, of all the devices, including the original one, the S IV Active looks heads and shoulders above the rest.
From the offset, the device gives a very brushed metal like feel unlike the cheap cranky plastic of the S IV. Some people even have suggested, that the design of S IV Active is what should have been the final design of the S IV. Coming to the specs of the device, the S IV Active has the same 1.9 GHz quad core processor and 2 GB RAM alongside the 2600 mAh battery. The device will run Android 4.2.2 JellyBean.
The Galaxy S IV is certified IP67 meaning, it can withstand water up to 3 feet for about half an hour and is totally dust proof. The display of the device is same 5 inch 1080 P LCD one as on the S IV. The pricing and the availability is still unknown of the device, but it should not be long before the device is launched for the consumers. A good bet would be that the phone would be available in the same price bracket at the Galaxy S IV.
