Samsung Galaxy S IV is just about ten days away from being out in the wild with all it’s goodness. And as usual how things go with Samsung there have been loads of leaks and alleged reports of the device already in the press. The benchmarks and specs are pretty much out, and the phone apparently would pack an octa core processor, 1080 P, and quite possibly an SLCD 2 display instead of a Super AMOLED variant. However, one feature that really caught our eyes and that could be called an innovation is eye scrolling. SO what exactly is this?
Just like the feature of smart stay in the Galaxy S III seems like Samsung is paying a lot of attention to how people view and use their smart phones, or to put it in their words, designing it for humans. Eye scrolling was something Samsung had trademarked under the name Samsung Eye Scroll. The way we understand this would work is that the page you are viewing or brosing could be navigated based on where your eyes are focused on the page. This simply means that if you are reading the last line of a page, automatically the page would scroll up to give you a complete hands free experience. Samsung Galaxy S IV thus could be a device that with its supposed 5 inch screen could make for an excellent reading device especially if they can get the screen right.
It remains to be seen how much if this feature appears can be implemented in various applications. We aint exactly sure how many apps would have the feature or only few Google or Samsung apps would be supported. Nonetheless, this is an exciting feature and definitely makes the launch a little more interesting if it was not already.
