Most of the Android devices today sport some of the best Cameras found on portable handsets. However, these images are really high in resolution and as a result sharing becomes a problem. Every single image is about 3 MB in size if taken from a 8 Mega Pixel camera which is a big issue if you have to send a few of them across via an E-Mail. This is not as big an issue if you have a Wi-Fi connection established, but God save your data limit in case you are having to send them via 3G or 2G. And since there is no inherent method to send the images in a smaller resolution unless you click them in it, we have the perfect solution for you in the form of application called SendReduced.
SendReduced is a very useful application that as it’s name suggests, help you to send across your images in a shorter size via E-Mail. The application is really simple to use, and all you have to do is to download it via the Play Store and install it on your Android device. You can access the application by clicking on the share icon when you select the image you wish to share just like you would do via a sharing site like instagram. When you use the application for the very first time, you will have to set up which service you wish to use with sendreduced to send the mail. You can even use it to send across image on Twitter in a smaller size in case you are cautious about the data that you consume. The application is really small in size so you do not have to worry about it using too much space on the memory of your device. It is really easy to use and very neatly done. There was no case of forced close either and the application ran really smoothly immediately transferring the data. You can also set the size of the image that you wish to share, this does become your global setting unless you change it again in the setting tab. As a blogger, I found this application to be extremely useful sending across screenshots that I need to blog about.
You can download the application via the Google Play Store for free here.
