HTC One is the front runner as far as any device released in 2013 is concerned. Using the device as my primary phone, I can absolutely vouch for the phone and that everything written about it is true and probably, it is the one Android device all the Android enthusiasts are very proud to show off. However, the market trend today seems to be, that you launch a flagship device and then launch various versions of the device to make it fit the needs and taste of as many people as possible. Samsung has been an active follower of this policy launching the Galaxy S IV Mini, Mega and Zoom recently. Looks like HTC is next in line as it prepares the HTC One Mini for a market release.
The devices in the leaked image side by side are the HTC One and the HTC One Mini. It is clear from the image above that the device take the same design cues from the HTC One. It is exactly like an HTC One with a slightly small screen. Bloomberg have reported that the device, codenamed the M4 will be released sometime in August. The rumoured specs of HTC One Mini are as follows:
- 4.3 inch Screen
- Beats Audio Onboard
- No IR Blaster
- Android Version 4.2.2
- 1.4 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon Processor
It is unclear the version of Sense the device will run and the price point of the device. Also, if the device will have fixed internal storage or have an expandable storage thanks to Micro SD Card slot is unknown.
