How often have you played the game where you’ve imagined how different the world would be if someone from our time went back into history and began shaping the culture?
What if you went back even further, to the time when humans were just discovering fire and figuring out how to use tools? You have the answer; The Tribez has been launched for the iPad.
The Tribez is the newest Adventure & Family game from Game Insight LLC.
Tribez is not just a game! Tribez is an adventure, where you travel to a distant past full of secrets, mysteries and many hours of addictive discovery of an unknown, but beautiful world!
You are invited to visit a mysterious, primitive world inhabited by a peace-loving people, who have been hidden behind a miles-deep portal from time immemorial. Build your own stone-age village, explore territories hidden by mountains and seas, and lead your tribe, who considers you sent by the gods, to prosperity.
Gameplay progresses through a series of quests and timed challenges, so you won’t be spending all your time as chief merely clicking on fields and watching meters fill. There are also hidden items to discover in each level, as well as wild animal attacks which you’ll have to fend off. Things aren’t all doom and gloom though, as The Tribez takes a very light hearted approach. It’s much more Flintstones than Terra Nova. Sadly, no word yet on if you can domesticate dinosaurs and turn them into the ancient versions of a telephone or can opener.
Help the leaders of neighbouring tribes, develop your country’s economy, discover new lands, populate them with your tribesmen, and tame dinosaurs! Tribez is a world in which you feel alive!
Some of the key features are:
– Gorgeous graphics down to the smallest detail
– Lively animations make the prehistoric world come to life on your iPhone
– Stunning sounds
– Tons of objects, characters, buildings and decorations
– Truly inexhaustible possibilities to develop your own stone-age empire
– Hundreds of captivating quests: search for treasure and artefacts, discover distant islands, expeditions to mysterious caves and much, much more!
What makes The Tribez genuinely pleasant to play is the attention paid to the graphics. Buildings are large and colourful, with designs that get more complex as you level them up. Your islands are full of life, with pterodactyls, small mammals, and brightly coloured insects constantly moving around the map. Even your villagers are surprisingly detailed, which animations for having conversations, eating, or just taking a load off. The Tribe doesn’t bring anything new the city builders, but it’s a very charming take on a genre that’s perfectly suited for tablet play.
