Introducing dual-band of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with two antennas is their bit for the tablet to help get over the fading experience. There are also offerings for a separate 4G LTE variant. Adding the new email client with Facebook, Twitter and Skype with their own apps for this device is a good move. With the Kindle FreeTime Amazon has introduced better parental controls. The content and time limit is all the parents so that they keep a track of what and how their kids use it and limit it separately. You get served with multiple profiles for Kindle FreeTime as well. The Kindle Fire OS has also undergone certain upgrades with respect to Kindle Fire HD. What doesn’t the device have? Talking about the hardware HDMI and Bluetooth are also included in this. With Immersion Reading and Whispersync the device stands out totally.

Also introduced were the Kindle Fire 7” 16 GB for $199 which ships from September 14th and the Kindle Paperwhite. Kindle Fire HD if ordered today ships on 20th November for $299 for the 8.9 inch model also with a separate 4G LTE model available for $499. This has cloud storage of 20GB. Data plans with 250 MB per month and $10 Amazon Appstore credit all for $49.99 per year. “We want to make money when people use our devices, not when they buy our devices” is what Bezos states on behalf of the Amazon world.
