Earlier this week, we brought you the report that Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus has been delayed, but we are more than happy to tell you that it’s finally here. It’s taken Verizon a long time to bring out the only mobile running Ice-scream Sandwich and no doubt they’ll be a little short on numbers. As stated in earlier reports, the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon will cost you $299.99 with a two year contract. It is a bit expensive but well, thats because its exclusive and Verizon is selling all its top smartphones at $300 with a contract so we were expecting it to hold the pricing part.
The Galaxy Nexus runs a 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 1 Gigabyte of RAM. It has a 4.65 inch Super Amoled HD display with a resolution of 1280×720. With a 5 Megapixel camera which can shoot full 1080p HD video, the nexus also supports 4G LTE for lightning speed.
If you’re looking for discounts, then there is a very nice deal with Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus. The online retailer LetsTalk is willing to sell you the Galaxy nexus at a discounted price. If you’re already a Verizon subscriber you will have to pay $20 extra but still their deal will save you some big bucks.
So if you wanted to enjoy the holiday season sitting with your Galaxy Nexus, well, your wait is now over. Galaxy nexus can be purchased from both Verizon and Amazon’s website too.
