In our Chrome OS setup guide we mentioned about guest browsing. It is an option given inside Chrome OS by which user can use the netbook without sign in with Google account . Suppose your family member or friend borrow your computer then it is better to click on the option Skip sign-in and browse as a Guest. After selecting this option, user can access your netbook without accessing your private files and emails.
In guest browsing mode you can only browse the web and download files. But if you want to install apps or extensions or create bookmark then you have to sign in with your Google account. It doesn’t mean that you can’t use existing installed apps or extensions.
