Which Is The Best URL Shortener In Terms Of Speed And Reliability

URL shorteners come in handy if you want to minimize link to share it on Twitter. But do you know that each URL shorteners have its own performance criteria.

A Dutch web-monitoring company, WatchMouse analyzed the top URL shortener companies and made a performance chart. According to this chart only Goo.gl and Twt.tl has 100% uptime while Snurl.com and tr.im had uptime below 99%.

Goo.gl was fastest and Facebook’s shortener Fb.me was slowest in the test (about ten times slower that fastest Goo.gl).

Nice performace chart. I always perefer Goo.gl and pretty happy with it.

read about fb.me issue sometime back.. I personally prefer su.pr as it increases the chance of driving traffic…
