WikiPreview Lets You Preview Hyperlinked Articles Without Visiting Them

Wikipedia is one of the top website to grab information in depth. One best thing about this site is hyperlinked text present on a page that lets you quickly visit other important articles. WikiPreview is a handy Chrome extension that gives you sneak preview of any hyperlinked text without actually clicking the link. You only have to hover your mouse over it to see the information. Pretty cool and impressive.

Download and install this extension from the Chrome Extension website. Now go to and search for your favorite article. Now bring your mouse pointer to any of the present hyperlink (blue colored text). It will show an introductory paragraph of the linked article.


This extension comes with some limitations as it doesn’t display information for few links present below the fold. Also sometimes preview box doesn’t appears below the link. But overall this extension is nice and deserve a try.
